This detached holiday cottage is situated next to the owner’s home it is accessed via a quiet umade lane and is a short walk from Wimborne with its many pubs, restaurants and shops.

Visit NT Kingston Lacy, Poole and its natural harbour and quay, Brownsea Island or sandy beaches at Sandbanks, Bournemouth and Studland. To the west are the Purbecks, with Saxon Wareham, Corfe Castle (NT) and the seaside at Swanage, with its steam train and promenade. The New Forest National Park is a 20-minute drive. Shop and pub serving food ¼ mile, restaurant 1 mile.

We echo everything said in the earlier comments. The cottage and its setting is idyllic. It is so central to everything – Poole, Bournemouth, Weymouth. We loved spotting the wildlife – deer and foxes – in the field at the bottom of the garden at dusk. Thank you Jayne & Steve for such an enjoyable break. We’ll definitely be back!
